Another name and face for us to remember and pass around in hopes that no other animal has to suffer at his hands. I’ve got my fingers crossed this guy gets the book.
Hmmm. I like the picture of the guy running from authorities. I am glad to report that in my neck of the woods, mostly because of the recession weeding a lot of people out, along with sky high hay prices, horse neglect is not as bad as it used to be.
GRRR!!!! What is wrong with people!! There have been a few instances in my neck of the woods of people turning their herds loose, and selling it to the media as “majestic, wild horse herds” to both raise funds and cover up the neglect. Take a look at this recent blog entry written by a neighbor of one such herd: http://dianetibert.com/2015/02/05/wild-horses-of-milford/
It angers me to no end that they put a spin on their neglect and try to cover up the irresponsible breeding. And “natural selection”….really?!?!?!
A few days later luckily it appears they were seized: http://thechronicleherald.ca/novascotia/1268268-horses-reportedly-seized-in-milford
