Year One Is Over

Just a short note to thank everyone who has visited Hooves during its first year on The Net.  Without all of you, I might as well be talking to myself – which I do often enough.  I’m very appreciative of those who have participated in the comments section, sharing views or asking questions, and those who’ve e-mailed in ideas, photos or articles.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope that 2014 brings you happiness, health and success in your endeavors, especially any and everything equine related.

Cheers!

  1. thank you so much for  taking the time  to write this blog. i enjoy it immensly. i recently saw a picture of a horse with the worst legs i’ve ever seen, she is a rescue mare so no one is trying to pass her off as a riding horse. i don’t know it it’s noteworthy enough to make a blog post on, but i sure would love to know in detail what is going on with her conformation. i am attaching photos in case you are interested in analyzing them in the future. happy Holidays! 2. Thank you for providing a meeting place for such a wide variety of riders from so many places. Entertaining, intelligent discussions with just enough snark to add spice! I am glad I found you.

  3. Yea, I have really learned a lot here, proof that even with a lifetime obsession with horses one can never learn it all. Thanks and Happy Holidays to all.

  4. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas! I can’t believe it’s been a year since you started this blog….what a great place to learn, admire, cringe and argue our passions. Best in 2014!!

  5. Merc, Happy year 1!! And NO they thankfully haven’t kicked you off the internet either! (Although you may have been close at times lol)

I sent you some pictures of Dazy, we worked, she had some time off because I had to work, and now were kinda working again, but shes being an ass and is kicking up when I give her some leg. But I am making her work despite her little hissy fits. Anyways, let me know that you have them and if I need to take more, I will. You have more or less watched her grow up on the internet 🙂
